Our ESC volunteer Rama in Ostrava, Czech Republic
My name is Rama Mustafa. I am 25 years old, and I have been in the Czech Republic for four months through the Youth Network for Development and Innovation – YNDI, participating in the Intervia program at Starý Bohumín School. I will continue my volunteering until June.
During this time, I have learned a lot. It was my first experience living alone and being responsible for a household. I met new people, made new friends, and had the opportunity to travel to several countries in a short period.
Working with children with mental and physical disabilities helped me become more patient and more creative. During my volunteering, I prepared many activities, including Jordanian food days, theatre activities, a Mexican Day, art classes, and many other activities. I am very glad to have had this opportunity.
اسمي راما مصطفى، عمري ٢٥ سنة، وموجودة في جمهورية التشيك من حوالي أربع أشهر عن طريق YNDI، ضمن برنامج Intervia في مدرسة ستاري بوهومين، ولسّه مستمرة بالتطوع لحد شهر يونيو.
خلال هالفترة تعلمت أشياء كثير. كانت أول مرة أعيش لحالي وأتحمل مسؤولية البيت. تعرّفت على ناس جدد، وكوّنت صداقات جديدة، وكمان قدرت أسافر لعدة دول بفترة قصيرة.
الشغل مع الأطفال ذوي الإعاقات الذهنية والجسدية خلاني أصير أكثر صبر وإبداع. وخلال فترة التطوع جهزت أنشطة كثيرة، مثل يوم الأكل الأردني، أنشطة مسرحية، يوم مكسيكي، حصص رسم وفن، وأنشطة ثانية كثيرة. وأنا كثير مبسوطة بهاي الفرصة.
